At New Tide Support Services, our values are shaped by lived experience.

I am a below-knee amputee following a lawn mower accident, and I navigate life with disability every day. This lived experience, combined with my personal journey through the NDIS, gives me a deep, practical understanding of the system — its challenges, its gaps, and its potential when it is done well.

Beyond my work and lived experience in the disability and NDIS sector, I am a professional adaptive athlete and proudly represent Australia as a athlete on the Australian Women’s Sitting Volleyball Team. Sport has shaped my resilience, discipline, and belief in what is possible with the right supports in place.

I am an author, motivational speaker, and content creator. I wrote The Amputee Playbook to support others adjusting to life after limb loss, and I use my platform to share honest, empowering insights about disability, recovery, and resilience. Through speaking and advocacy, I aim to change how people see disability — focusing on strength, adaptability, and possibility. You can learn more about this part of my journey at www.peglegmeg.com.au.

I’m also a toddler mum, balancing parenthood alongside disability, work, and advocacy. This has strengthened my commitment to flexible, realistic supports that truly fit into everyday life — not just on paper, but in practice. As a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am passionate about creating a service that is inclusive, safe, and affirming for people of all identities and backgrounds.

With multiple years of experience working within the disability and NDIS sector, I bring both professional expertise and personal insight to everything we do. I am deeply passionate about helping participants make the most of their NDIS funding, build meaningful supports, and achieve goals that matter to them.

Our approach is unapologetically participant-focused. Having a personal investment in the NDIS means we don’t just deliver services — we advocate, listen, and walk alongside you.

The combination of lived experience, sector knowledge, and genuine care is what truly sets New Tide Support Services apart.
